High Intensity Supports
High-intensity supports cater to participants with complex medical needs. Unlike standard supports, these require specialised training and oversight. We focus our energy on ensuring this quality remains and staff/participants are trained and have adequate support plans.
Support workers for high-intensity participants undergo additional training to ensure safety and quality care when working with participants whom have:
- Dysphasia care plans
- Epilepsy Management Plans
- PEG regimes
- Complex bowel care
- Oxygen Management
These participants require support workers with more skills and competencies along with oversight by a registered nurse.
