Founded in 2019 our goal at Blossom Support Services is to provide opportunities for individuals living with a disability to experience successful community adventures and have access to quality and unique short-term accommodation. With a focus on positive behaviour support and intervention we work with our families and therapists to ensure a holistic support approach. Our groups also stay small, so quality time is spent with each participant working towards their goals.

Adventure

Adventure is fun and allows for expression or experience of freedom, joy, and happiness. Shared adventures create a deeper connection between people.

Connection is to create deeper relationships through communicating, engaging, and empathising with those around you. Connection is broadening your social support and friendship networks. Connection is accommodating to all communication preferences.

Respect

Respect is having empathy to view the world from someone else’s perspective. Respect is valuing diversity and empowering individuals to overcome barriers. Respect is the ability to maximise inclusion through varying levels of connection.

Creativity is the encouragement of a culture who values divergent thinking. Creativity is to have the curiosity to explore individual interests through new experiences. Creativity is having the capacity to adapt to change. Creativity is having the resourcefulness to effectively problem solve.

Authenticity

Being authentic is being YOU, and acting in accordance with your truest self. It is being honest and Taking responsibility for one's actions and not blaming them on someone else. It means that what you say and do are in harmony both with each other and your beliefs, values and desires.
